Approaching June
For many years I dreaded June because it was a grief-trigger. Both my husband and father both passed away in June one year apart in 2001 and 2002. But It also holds my wedding anniversary and the birth of my youngest son as well Father’s Day—and now only the good memories remain—so happy June to all!

5-6-7 of Hearts Chosen for the New Mexico Public Art Collection
Three more paintings from the House of Cards series are entering the public space and will be exhibited at Albuquerque’s community college, CNM, where I also worked for several years. I feel fortunate to live in a state with a robust arts sector and the support it provides to local artists. Also these are three of my favorites so it’s especially sweet.
