Description
Yakshi-Yaksha are male and female nature spirits, usually benevolent, but sometimes mischievous or capricious, connected with water, fertility, trees, the forest, treasure and wilderness. In they are nature spirits who are custodians of treasures hidden in the earth, especially the roots of trees and are powerful magicians and shape-shifters.
